Frequently asked questions for individual participations

We have compiled the questions we most often encounter, so that we could help you register and participate successfully. Last updated 08.01.2026.

Ticket and Registration

Where can I find my ticket?

You can open the ticket file from the email sent after a successful registration or from your Dashboard. Download the file so that you can present your ticket when you collect your starter pack.

Why can't I see my Senior 55+ registration?

The participants of Senior 55+ competitions must have their listed personal data checked in order to confirm their age. We ask you to be patient as this process takes time.

Can I make changes to my registration?

Changes to your registrations can be made up to around 2 weeks before the competition. After this point the printing of Bib numbers starts. If we have started printing the Bibs, the system will not allow you to make any changes.

Redaction of identifying data like sex, first or last name, date of birth and email are not allowed.

You can change non-identifying data like competition format or distance, merchandise size, “medal engraving” option, team name and telephone number through the “Edit registration” and the “Competition change” buttons on your dashboard.

The “Money back” option cannot be purchased after you have registered.

The “Medal engraving” option can be purchased after you have registered, but cancelation of the option will not result in a refund.

If you change your competition with one of a higher price, you will have to pay the difference between the current price and the fee you have already paid. Changing to a competition with lower cost will not result in a refund.

Until when can I register for a competition?

Don’t wait! We try to be diligent in keeping the registrations open until the date shown on the website of the event but there is a possibility that the max capacity is filled sooner.

Participation

When and where does the competition start? What is the race track?

The location of the starting line and the map of the race track are shown on the Home page or the Rules page of the website of the event. The starting time for the different competitions will be published at least 2 weeks before the event on the same pages.

Can someone else participate instead of me?

No! You wouldn’t want someone else to compete with your name 🙂

The ranking has different categories for gender and age. Giving your number to someone else allows his result to be ranked unfairly in another category. We reserve our right to disqualify such participations (terms and conditions).

Can children run on your events?

THE RESTRICTIONS REFER TO THE AGE THAT THE CHILD WILL REACH UNTIL THE END OF THE CALENDAR YEAR!!!

Example: If your child is born on the 2nd of December and the competition is on the 2nd of April 2026 than the rules refer to the age the child will reach on the 2nd of December 2026.

  1. Kids up to 12 years of age are able to participate in Kid’s Run, “Mom&Me” or Teen competitions.
  2. Kids between 12 and 15 years of age can run in Teen and Junior competitions that are organised after we have negotiated all safety concerns with our insurance provider. If the participation of children in this age group is allowed it will be explicitly stated on the event website.
  3. Persons who have reached 16 years of age can participate in all events and competitions.
What preparation and gear are necessary for participation?

The necessary gear and preparation will be listed on the Rules page of the event website.

Can I participate in a wheelchair?

Yes. Contact us at help@begach.com in order for us to prepare a secure start zone and ensure your safety and that of the other participants.

Can I participate with a kid in a baby stroller?

You can safely participate with a kid in a baby stroller only at the “Mom&Me” competition of Bioderma Women’s Run. In no other cases can we ensure the safety of the mother or the baby in a stroller.

Can I run with my dog?

Running with a dog is not allowed even if it is on a leash or has a mouth guard, due to the risk of tripping other participants. An exception to this is the participation of the blind with a guide dog.

Starter packs and Refunds

Where can I get my starter pack? When will I receive an email regarding the starter packs?

Starter packs are given out at stations during the days right before the event or in the day of the event before the competition start. We advise you collect the starter packs before the day of the competition.

Up to one week before the event we will send an email containing the locations of the stations and their working hours.

Can I get a refund?

In accordance with the EU laws and regulations we give you the opportunity to receive a refund in the following instances:

  1. Up to 14 days after your registration BUT NOT later than 14 days before the day of the event. That is when we start making non-refundable expenses on the preparation of the competitions (Bib numbers, medal, insurance, exc.)
  2. If you purchased the “Money back option” while registering you can receive your refund until the date stated on the option. (The refund does NOT INCLUDE the option fee.)

To get a refund contact us at help@begach.com. Please state the full name of the participant and the email attached to the registration.

Can I receive my starter pack after the event has ended?

No.

The starter is not a purchase, it is given in order for our clients to participate in our events. We are not obliged to supply starter packs after the end of such an event as stated in our terms and conditions.
